We are a residential land developer that brings local focus, flexibility with our partners, and the capital it takes to make development projects successful. Our typical projects include townhomes, single family homes, estate lots, and active adult communities. We prefer projects of 50 – 250 lots in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and Richmond, Virginia in submarkets that are characterized by high demand, low supply, and favorable demographics.

Founded in 2008 by the Pohlad Companies and a part of United Properties since 2012, we are privately held and backed by the experience and capital of a nearly century-old company.

With years of banking and real estate management experience, our team approaches each project with creativity and flexibility. We have the access to capital and experience it takes to close acquisitions swiftly. Our expertise as a developer includes entitling and improving raw land, solving challenging projects, and repositioning assets. We also create custom, flexible financing solutions to sell our inventory of homes, lots, and land.

From land/lot acquisition and residential land development to equity investing, fee build programs, and REO management services, we have the relationships and capabilities to develop tomorrow’s communities.

We acquire residential land, add value by navigating the development process, then sell finished lots to homebuilders.

We develop concurrent projects of many sizes, and have the experience and capital to close swiftly on the right opportunities.
